Our Service

Carers Choices provides quality care in your own home so that the Carer can take a break. Trained Carer Support Workers take over the Carer's role and visits can be arranged from one hour upwards on a regular basis. Funding is available for Carers from Essex County Council and this is not means tested. The service provides companionship, medication assistance, reduces isolation, personal hygiene tasks, help preparing meals, outings, shopping, washing/ironing and collection of prescriptions and pensions.

Who We Support

We provide care to any age group young or old and every form of disability and all our support workers receive specialist training to ensure that they have the knowledge and information needed on visits that are more challenging. Visits are arranged to the carers requirements and can be anything from just sitting having a chat to taking them out on a social outing.

Anyone can call to arrange an assessment with our Care manager who will assess the needs of the family and if funding is required our Care Manager can assist with this. A detailed care plan will then be produced and the family are matched with a suitable Support Worker for that family. The care is offered at the time best suited to the family and can be during the day, evenings or at weekends.
