How many of your 5 a day do you really eat?

Less than a third of Elderly eat enough fruit and vegetables.


The most recent National Diet and Nutrition survey by Public Health England (PHE) (which compares over 8 years of data)isn't a good read. The report says that only 32% of older people (aged 64 - 74) eat the daily recommendation of five portions of fruit and vegetables, there has been no decrease in the amount of saturated fat or sugary drinks that older people consume and no increase in the amount of fibre in the diet.
